    Two Towers (Le Due Torre)
The two towers that rise over Bologna's Piazza di Porta Ravegnana are among the most notable of Bologna's landmarks. The taller, the Torre degli Asinelli, is named after its patrons and was built in 1109. It can be climbed for a view of the city. The Garisenda Tower is notable for its obvious tilt, which was already serious enough by the year 1351 the structure was shortened for preservation. Internal tours of the Garisenda tower are not available.
